   This tech interests me, but for the price I would rather a tv that doesn’t strap to my head and leave marks. Maybe once the price drops?

   Yes I will be getting one
   Wife wants a new TV as I currently have a display panel only.
   Tricky to swap sound & inputs so she gives up.
   I will connect this to the PS3 & leave the panal set up for TV only
   This is $899 vs. $2500 for a decent 55′ 3D LED LCD TV

      I got a 46″ Bravia LED LCD for under $800. I think someone is taking you for a ride with the $2500.

            Eh, once they hit the 50″ mark the price jumps quite a bit…

            Add in backlit LED rather than edgelit and various other odds & ends…

            Or you could just get 60″ Panasonic Neo Plasma with all the useless 3D/smart TV features and a better picture than any LED/LCD (in my biased opinion!) for under $2000!

         The real question is which of the two is more uncomfortable to use 😛

         Also, what do you think of it? I absolutely love mine, wish the few games I’m missing for it weren’t such a pain to find though.

    $900 is too much for me, but i wouldnt mind at least giving it a try, hopefully they will have instore demos.

    I also assume, the first batch of pre-orders will be on the Sony site on Friday?

    I have one.

    Its good for 3d. But the head mounted display is heavy. your nose will hurt.

    Some people add a strap over the top to help with this. Ghetto fixes ftw
