The Internet Has Never Been More Awkward Than Julia Stiles In 1994

As awful as this is, I can't stop watching.

This is Julia Stiles circa 1994, guest-starring on Ghostwriter, and introducing kids to the wonders - and perils - of the internet. Such an idealist, she was! Shame she never saw the porn, cat pictures and Facebook coming. She might have lingered a little less longingly there at the end.

OMG, I didn't think it was possible, but this show is even more painful than when I was 11..
Bonus points for the Neuromancer name drop though.

"it's a world where you're judged by what you say and think, not how you look like"

    lol, more like:

"it's a world where you're judged by what you say and think, until people find out what you look like"

      I LIEK MUFFINS
      I'm also ridiculously good looking.

...wait, that kinda makes sense anyway, doesn't it? Which means that all attractive people are idiots, and all ugly people aren't worth paying any attention to, which means that... my brain hurts >.<

Hmmm...more like "It's a world where people assume you look bad, and therefore are stupid"

That started getting a little creepy at the end, with the longing stares and stroking of the monitor.

Kind of like you imagine that “it’s a world where you’re judged by what you say and think, not how you look like” was said to her by a 47 year old man she talks to when her parents aren't home.

    Ghostwriter! WORD!
