ScribbleTaku

So while Mark's recovering I'm doing the drawing for today, and predictably I've gone for a seriously vintage title. I'm an awful artist, but I'm still confident that Kotaku's collective brain will crack this speedily, even though it came out before many of you were born. Grumpy old man, me.

ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku!

    Commando on C64

Crusader: No Regret/Remorse? Love some isometric shooting action!

That's a sad but accurate reflection on my drawing skills. No shooting involved!

    jagged alliance

    Syndicate or Shadowrun?

rats no jagged alliance then... is that a peg leg or a sword on the top character?

Fairlight on the C64 and Spectrum.
Reaching with this one, but some of the screenshots look similar.
    Similar-ish. Emphasis on "ish".

OMG that's correct (well, I played on a 6128 but never mind). Very impressed you managed to work that from this particular scribble!

Old and isometric (from the pic) were the biggest clues. Looked more like Fairlight than Great Escape or Head Over Heels which were the other 2 isometric old-school games I remember from that period.

Little Big Adventure 1 or 2 (Twinsens Odyssey)?

    Playboy mansion ;)

Reminds me of commando c64 too. Or was there a Rambo aswell.
