Tomb Raider Series Is 75% Off On Steam

The new Tomb Raider was delayed into 2013, which was disappointing, but that doesn't mean you can't spend time with the series — particularly now with Steam doing a pretty stellar deal with a huge number of the recent games in the series. For now at least, you can pick up either Tomb Raider Anniversary, Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Underworld for $2.49, $2.49 and $4.99 respectively.

That there is some pretty darn good pricing, so I just thought I'd give you the heads up. Mostly I expect you folks are knee deep in other video games, or sitting at the edge of your couch trembling in anticipation of Halo 4, but if you need a Tomb Raider fix, this is your best best.

I saw that on steam over the weekend and was sorely tempted, but I've never played a Tomb Raider game (unless you count Uncharted, HIYOOOO) and I figure I'll probably just play the new one instead, assuming it reviews well.

grab anniversary for a laugh and then you can compare old and new with next year's release. anniversary is a great game for $2.50.

You shouldn't have a picture of the new game on an article about a sale that does not include it.

As someone who played the original Tomb Raider on release (and loved it), I can really, really recommend Anniversary. It demonstrates why the world knows the name 'Lara Croft' - and no, it's not (just) because of the boobs.
