Yep, The PSP Is Still Getting Games. This One Is A Strategy-RPG.

It’s called Ragnarok Tactics, and it’s a tactical role-playing game set in the world of Ragnarok Online. Trailer’s above.

Out today on disc for $US30 and on the PlayStation Network for $US25, the game actually looks pretty interesting. I’ve never played Ragnarok Online, but I’m always a sucker for a good strategy-RPG. (Although nothing has ever really compared to Final Fantasy Tactics.)

Here’s Mike Engler, a localisation editor over at publisher Aksys, describing the game:

So, what is Ragnarok Tactics? The quick and dirty description is that it is a fairly involved strategy role-playing game that takes place within the Ragnarok Online universe, complete with its familiar monsters and job classes. Add to that already appealing formula a story with no less than five unique endings and a hero(ine) who is a doer of deeds rather than a speaker of words, and you have the recipe for an incredible portable gaming experience!

Head on over to the PlayStation Blog for more.

So what do you think? Does Ragnarok Tactics sound cool?
