If you pay attention to the expansion squares outside of your restaurant’s borders in ChefVille, you might have noticed that one now houses a Bavarian Market, complete with topiaries, new floor tiles and wall pieces. This Bavarian Market requires 25,000 coins and 75 Recommendations to unlock, but you’ll also need to earn 45 mastery stars on the Hofbrau Skillet before this land is yours.
It’s impossible to unlock this piece of land right now, as the Hofbrau Skillet simply doesn’t have 45 Mastery Stars available to earn. However, you can get a bit closer this week through the Intermediate Level upgrade and a series of three “A Series of Wursts” quests. Thankfully, these quests aren’t timed, so you can work on them as quickly or as slowly as you’d like. We’re here with a guide to getting you started in these quests, thanks to Zynga.
Wow, More Hofbrau
• Upgrade the Hofbrau Skillet to Intermediate
• Server 2 German Spaetzle
• Harvest 3 Wild Onions
The Hofbrau Skillet upgrade is completed using six Rustic Roastings, six Saucy Statures, six Savory Sizzles, six Smokey Smarts, and seven Manly Mitts. The Rustic Roastings, Saucy Statures, and Manly Mitts are earned by posting general news requests on your wall, while the other two items are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbours. When you complete this quest, you’ll receive a 15 XP, 50 coins, and a Green Sauerkraut.
Stop Stalling
• Place and Finish the Potato Stall
• Give Chef’s Service with Knackwurst 4 Times
• Collect from Potato Stall 2 Times
The Potato Stall is purchased from the store for 2,000 coins. You don’t have to unlock the Intermediate level of the Hofbrau Skillet to actually build this item, so feel free to work on it ahead of time. It needs to be unwrapped using three energy. From there, you can finish it using five Spud Sacks, five Starchy Stakes, and four Tater Tents. While you may already have the Potato Truck in your restaurant (depending on how many mastery stars you’ve earned), you can have up to four of these Potato Stalls to increase your stockpile of potatoes. Completing this quest gives you a Beef Broth, 15 XP, and 50 coins.
Green with Envy
• Place and Finish the Stone Fermenter
• Craft 1 Green Sauerkraut
• Serve Potato Pancakes 3 Times
The Stone Fermenter is a new appliance that costs 5,000 coins to purchase. It too requires three energy to unwrap, and you can finish it off by asking your friends to send you four Crock Comments, five Stoneware Stories, and four Organic Orations. This Stone Fermenter is used to create Green Sauerkraut with Green Cabbages. Again, there’s no time limit on finishing these quests, so if you’re not interested in upgrading the Hofbrau Skillet right now, it’s still smart to build at least one Potato Stall while you work on other things.
