This Handy Website Lets You Check The Status Of Sim City’s Servers

Considering the incredible difficulties players had in actually getting online to play Sim City during its launch week, this new webpage, which allows players to quickly check the status of all Sim City servers, is long overdue. It’s also a very welcome, super helpful addition.

In the wake of Sim City’s disastrous launch, it appears as though Maxis and EA are doing their level best to make it up to consumers, offering a free game on Origin to all who purchased Sim City. This new webpage is designed to help appease those who have had difficulties getting online. At the present moment only one of the available servers is experiencing queues but, really, you shouldn’t have to queue at all to play a video game you paid cold, hard cash for.

Still, baby steps. And this a good solid step forward.
