This is A.N.N.E., a “Metroidvania and Space shooter hybrid still in early development”. Looks nice.

That actually looks really nice… hopefully they make $145K and I will pick up a Vita version
With the current Kickstarter scene and these brief articles coming out more frequently (alongside some of the more in-depth reviews), I wonder at what stage it might be practical to do like the App Deals got and start a regular round-up specifically for crowdfunded games. Not only will it offer a ‘go-to’ listing rather than the current random and scattershot articles (I only found out about the Battle Worlds: Kronos Kickstarter via the last Greenlight article), but it might also offer better chances and additional promotion for some of the smaller Kickstarters which have half-finished games already but somehow never gain traction in crowdfunding (so they can’t quit their day jobs to finish them sooner; eg. Mak and Blackspace; or have to split and relaunch as smaller sub-projects like Skyjacker).
A weekly roundup could also aggregate multiple sites like Indiegogo and Pozible which don’t have Kickstarter’s current recognition in video gaming (or in the case of Pozible, don’t often have many video games), and act as a reminder for active campaigns people might have forgotten about, or ‘slacker backer’ listings through Paypal (I’m sure I’m not the only one who missed a couple because of crowdfunding cutoff date vs. personal income date)
Some personal recommendations which are still up for funding on Kickstarter:
Risk of Rain (awesome mashup of random roguelike-like platform shooting – add equal parts Spelunky, Binding of Isaac and Another World – currently chasing stretch goals)
Flowstorm (think Thrust/Gravitron with a bit of Nimbus thrown in for a very unique racing game – but only five days left and it’s woefully underfunded despite all the gameplay footage and current demo!)
C-Wars (their site describes their project much better than I could – but they’re doing well currently)
Theme Park Studio (the dev are moving from coaster sims to a full DIY theme park program, and one of the big stretch goals is to add a Rollercoaster Tycoon style management mode)
Rex Rocket (if you backed Shovel Knight and/or you like Megaman then you at least want to watch the video of this one!)
That’d be a hell of a job. But there are some sites out there doing something similar. Check out Rock Paper Shotgun’s ‘Kickstarter Katchup’ regular feature.
