The first expansion to Plants Vs. Zombies 2 will be set in the future, the game’s creators at PopCap just announced at a Gamescom EA kick-off event. The free-to-play game has already been downloaded some 16 million times since its release last week.

Last week?
OH WAIT! We’ve had it for like a month already! HUZZAH FOR AUSTRALIA!
Yay! Right, guys?
…Guys? I’m not the only one who enjoys PVZ2 am I?
I don’t know if it’s because I played the first one to death, but there is no magic in the second one and the appeal faded very quickly. I feel my personal bitter hatred of ftp and the fact that they put my favourite plant behind a pay wall isn’t helping things either. I think I closed my heart off to this game and never gave it a chance. My wife liked it so you’re not alone.
Couldn’t agree more. The ftp model has really ruined what was previously one of my favourite non AAA games. I wont be spending any money unless Popcap provide some form of “buy-all” option for a reasonable price.
I’m sure if I could just pay $15 for the lot I would enjoy my experience more. Instead…….I’m just not playing it as I feel I will never have the full experience.
