David Jaffe Discusses His Love/Hate Relationship With Video Game Fans

David Jaffe is famous for being one of the more visible creators currently making video games. He’s currently heading up Bartlet Jones and they’ve started up a video series called ‘Lunch At Bartlet Jones’ which attempts to capture random conversations had at the studio. A couple of days ago they did an interesting Game of the Year segment, but the latest video focuses on Jaffe’s love/hate relationships with video game fans.

I agree with a lot of what he’s saying, but I’m also glad that there’s that little disclaimer at the start, mainly because I think it’s easy to judge an entire group by the noisy, grumpy vocal minority when the reality is that most gamers are respectful, great human beings. Interesting vid nonetheless, particularly in the context to the discussion about resolution and Xbox One visuals versus PS4.
