Deadspin noticed a couple of users who were surprised to learn their Kinect 2.0 sensor on the Xbox One is just as alert as regular Kinect was last year in FIFA 13. However, last year the filth-flarn-flarn-filth would only result in a passive-aggressive scolding from commentator Martin Tyler.
In 2012, the FIFA development team briefly toyed with the idea of handing out yellow cards, but had to back off that when they realised the potential for off-mike trolling by friends and little brothers in the room.
NBA 2K‘s team also returns technical fouls to NBA 2K14 — something they “fought hard” to include last year, though the league wasn’t too thrilled about it being publicized. Neither is the guy getting T’d up by virtual Joey Crawford. At least he didn’t get a technical for laughing.

I downloaded the demo on PS4 and was really disappointed. I was considering buying it as my first football game bought since FIFA 98 and the gameplay has taken a hit in fun for the effect of realism, and even then it doesn’t do realism well. Ah well, I was avoiding EA anyway, seems this will continue

yeah i had this happen to me in my season…. made a massive effort to stop swearing and then got another message from the manager saying he had dropped me from the final…..
Now we know why they have such cranky looks on their faces on the box art.
that is a cool feature, i would love to give this a try.

They keep telling me to watch my language and it even extends to the commentary – They mention “He’s going to have to watch his language – He’s lacking discipline” lol its brilliant!
But once you realise its in there – Do you know how HARD it is to NOT swear when playing FIFA?! I never knew i was so bad….
Wow how much of a gimmick can they make this?
Simply never plug that Kinect into the Xbox and your good.
This is a form of censorship in my living room, who the *&%$@& are they what
I can or can not say.
So you believe that coaches, managers and players who swear at refs and other players never get punished IRL? The whole point of it is immersion and realism. Its not the thought police stealing your freedoms, its a game making you act like you are actually part of the real thing.
I haven’t said a word during a whole match on purpose and still got the reprimand
