Shaq Talks Shaq-Fu And Why You Should Give Him Your Money

Shaq Fu has gone down in legend as one of the most bizarre uses of a license in history. It's also famous for being a little bit rubbish. But superstar basketballer Shaq wants to redeem himself and his brand. He wants to create a new Shaq Fu game. It's called Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, and in this interview, he talks about they reasons why he wants to bring the game back, and why he wants you to pay for it.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is currently on IndieGogo and hopes to raise $450,000 for the game's development. According to Shaq, he'll be putting a fair amount of cash up himself on this project if it gets funded.

Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is such a weird project. Weird that Shaq himself wants to be involved with another video game considering the last one. Weird that it's on Indiegogo, or any crowdsourcing site for that matter. The whole thing just feels like a bad April Fool's joke come to life.

But you know what? That's why it's such an interesting story. I personally hope it gets funded.

Seriously? I've seen this dudes house on Cribs. What kind of moron would donate to this?

I want it to happen, but at the same time if Shaq truly wants to do this and believes in it, he could easily pony up the cash himself.

Fantastic! I have so many unanswered questions from Shaq Fu. Like, who won the all star game in the end, and is Sett-Ra really dead, amongst others...

Doing the same thing and expecting a different result... The real question is, "Will it be worse than Snoop Doggs' Way of the Dogg?" :/

I don't have high hopes for this. He seems to be blaming the failings of the original on the fact that it was 2D and had "a bad controller". Because apparently there were no good 2D games on the Megadrive/SNES.

Apparently he is a big martial arts fan, though. He trains MMA and reportedly asked the UFC to give him a fight a few years back.
