New Disney Infinity Trailer Has A Pretty Big Spider-Man Tease

Hey, who knew Hulk could parallel park? So far, the only Marvel characters confirmed for the next Disney Infinity game are members of the Avengers.

That’s the cinematic version of Marvel’s flagship super-team we’re talking about, the one where Spider-Man isn’t a member. (He swings with the most recent iteration of the team in current Marvel Comics.) But this new promo clip shows Bruce Banner’s brawny alter ego driving the Spider-Mobile, the drive-up-walls car that Peter Parker first steered through a very brief storyline back in the 1970s.

New Disney Infinity Trailer Has A Pretty Big Spider-Man Tease

You don’t just put a thing like that in a trailer, of course. Seems to be a clear sign that Spider-Man — whose solo video game rights have been held by Activision for a long, long time — will be showing up in Disney Infinity: Marvel Superheroes. We’ll have more on the game soon.

Update: As other have mentioned, Spidey showed up in the original trailer for the game so it seems more like a matter of when, not if, players will get to team him up with the Avengers.
