Briefly: Oculus has announced that its Touch controllers won’t ship until the “second half” of 2016. The Oculus Rift itself, however, is apparently still on track for early this year. The delay is disappointing; the Touch devices were the highlight of my last VR demo.

What good are the touch controllers in mid 2016, when the Rift is coming out “early next year”?!?
Nah, you can bet anything that the Oculus Rift will be delayed too.
I don’t think the company will be delayed.

Better?
Much 😛
So, 6 months after the delayed controllers? Guessing this was a really slooooooow copy-paste from Kotaku-US and it’s supposed to be early 2016?
Nope delayed until 2017
“Early this year” really doesn’t have the same punch as “early 2016”, does it? Atleast not yet, unless everyone else is already super acclimatized to date change compared to me.
Early 2016 is already upon us. I expected to see a big marketing campaign with a release date for CV1 at least 3 months ahead. I’m expecting a big delay.
HTC Vive for the win!
