Tired of surfing in Counter-Strike as an optional extra, Rory McHenry is working on building his own standalone surfing experience using Unreal Engine 4.
Here’s his first proof of concept video:
And here’s a newer design, with a bit more polish in the physics.
Yeah, being Unreal Engine 4 and not Source means it’s not 100% authentic, but whatever. Even these rough videos look fun!

Well, good luck to the guy, but with TF2 having hundreds of surf maps and being free this is a hard sell.
And TF2 has hats! So many hats!
