Telltale just released the first screens and details on Batman: The Telltale Series, which debuts this summer.
The art style mimics the comics and sticks to Batman’s shadowy settings. Along with the pics, Telltale also revealed the initial voice cast for the episodic series.
Telltale’s vision of Batman will feature an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne,Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle.
We’ll keep you posted as we learn more at E3.

A Telltale Batman game? I don’t think I could handle anymore of Telltale’s decision making games after the Game of Thrones series.
Martha Wayne: “Brucey, woud you like to come to the Theatre with us this evening?”
*Choices* a) Mom, don’t go I have a terrible feeling something is going to happen b) Sure, anything beats this crappy old mansion
No matter what happens, a terribly heartwrenching decision will ensue 🙁
This is Telltale…
a) Martha: Oh you’re just being silly.
Martha will remember your silliness.
Martha gets a pearl necklace, then gets shot.
b) Martha: Thats a good boy.
Martha will remember your goodness.
Martha gets a pearl necklace, then gets shot.
You and 50.5% of people were silly about going to the theatre and the outcome didn’t change a bit.
Huh. They listed some of the actors and their roles, but they didn’t say who Nolan North will be playing! I mean, he’s gonna be in it, right? He’s in everything…
Presumably he will be reprising his role as Deadpool.
Penguin? He did a good penguin in the arkham series.
Sign me up, that new engine looks great.
I’m still pretty effing mad at Telltale after Minecraft. Buy a season pass, then, at the release of the penultimate episode, announce that they’re actually going to pump out two more episodes which you have to pay extra for!
I love Batman. LOVE. And I’ve purchased every Telltale game sight-unseen since Jurassic Park. But this (and TWD) will be the first time that I’m going to wait until everything is out before purchasing.
Can’t understand the fandom behind these games. TWD first season’s gameplay was trash, the dialogue stilted as fuck, the characters so selfish and annoying and no option to smash their faces into mush. Only thing it had going for it was the license. Haven’t played any others, maybe they got better. Doubt it though.
You’re obviously not the target audience. Some people like narrative/character-focused games. And plenty of those people consider TWD to be one of the greatest games of all time.
Ah, Telltale. You’ve never let me down. I like to think I’m a storyteller, and they’re stories are fantastic. Can’t wait 🙂
