I’ve already spoken a little of my love for this game’s art design, but today I’m going to showcase a much wider range of work from a team of artists who worked on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
A lot of the art lets us get an even closer look at something I spoke with artist Mike Hill about, when he said Infinite Warfare “needed to feel closer to 1980 then 2080”. There are some sleek, smooth items and touches, sure, but also a lot of thick, dirty and busted elements that remind you this stuff isn’t just designed to look pretty, it’s designed to work in the field.
While this isn’t everyone who worked on the game, it’s a nice cross-section of pieces, giving us a look at some character design, environmental work, vehicle design and modelling. Oh, and robots.
Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios.
