Damnit, i wasnt that interested in Titanfall 2 (haven’t really watched any of the trailers/gameplay so i was ignorant of how cool it actually is), but that speedrun and titan gameplay actually looks really fun. My poor wallet.
Just one question for anyone that can be bothered helping, is getting a titan like a kill streak in COD or do the points/whatever you need before calling in a titan carry over after you die, because im not the best at shooting games so if its like COD kill streaks i’d never get to use the titan.
Also i didn’t entirely understand what was happening in the dark souls one, but how funny he looked running/leaping forward in that chunky armour combined with good old initial d gave a good chuckle.
RE: the Titans, sort of.
The bar for your Titan fills up no matter what – eventually, everybody gets a Titan. However, kills and objectives etc will help fill it faster. The bar also carries over even if you die.
Additionally, in some game modes there are both enemy players, and enemy AI. Killing the AI also fills your Titan bar faster, just not as fast as killing enemy players.
Overall I definitely recommend it. It has a gentle skill curve, but a high skill ceiling. Novice players can still feel like they’re getting somewhere, but players that practice and put the time in are rewarded as well.
