With new series and OVAs every month, here’s what you can look forward to on Netflix over the coming weeks on the animated front.

Violet Evergarden: Extra Episode (Now)

A story about former soldier Violet Evergarden looking for her place in society. The OVA focuses on a letter sent by a songstress at an opera house, and canonically takes place between episode 4 and 5 of the season (which launched on Netflix earlier this year).

Castlevania Season 2 (October 26)

The second season of Netflix’s Castlevania series drops towards the end of the month, focusing on Dracula’s attempt to scour humanity from the face of the earth after humans killed his wife.

Fate/EXTRA Last Encore: Illustrias Geocentric Theory (October 30)

Another entry in the spin-off anime from the Fate/Extra Japanese dungeon crawlers, Illustrias Geocentric Theory focuses on Hakuno’s attempts to save humanity after reaching the seventh floor. The special airing this month is the three-episode OVA rounding off Fate/Extra Last Encore series, which aired in Japan in late July this year.

Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Ten Commandments (October 15)

Seven Deadly Sins was one of the first Netflix Original anime to be picked up, and it returns in a fortnight with the latest season. The band of knights have to return after the Ten Commandments are revived by an old foe.
