Japan’s premiere sales chart Oricon has released a list of the biggest selling manga of this year in Japan. Yes, 2021 isn’t quite over yet, but hey, we’re close enough.

The data has been collected from 3,967 bookshops across Japan for the period between December 7, 2020, and November 29, 2021. Oricon has been doing rankings like this since 2008, and this is the go-to sales chart list for manga in Japan.

Below are the top thirty selling manga volumes for 2021. Take a look — you might notice a pattern. Keep in mind that these are estimated totals.

Obviously, Jujutsu Kaisen released more new volumes this year, which is why it took up more real estate in the charts than Demon Slayer, which has ended its run.

Via Comic Book, the rest of the top ten charts were rounded out by One Piece at 7 million copies sold, Chainsaw Man at 5.2 million, Spy x Family at 4.9 million, Kingdom at 4.6 million and Haikyu!! at 4.3 million.
