Kinect Makes The Best Anime Promotion

Sci-fi anime flick Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society is getting a 3D theatrical outing this month in Japan. The flick was originally released in 2006, and if you missed it the first time around, it’s worth checking out. Know what else is worth checking out?

Kinect is being is used to recreate the world of Stand Alone Complex Solid State Society, allowing Ghost in the Shell fans to interact with Tachikoma on a mission.

The demo was created by Japanese tech company Kayac; however, it doesn’t run on an Xbox 360, but a PC. Check it out at the Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. “Premium Shop” at Shibuya Parco until April 19.

Somebody should, you know, make a Ghost in the Shell Kinect game. Kinda like this.
