The Two Most Popular Vita Games In Japan Are…


The PS Vita sold 321,407 units in its first two days in sale in Japan… so which games were the most popular?

According to Sony executive Shuhei Yoshida, the two most pre-ordered games on the new handheld console were Everybody’s Golf (also known as Hot Shots Golf in the US) and Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Both are titles made by WorldWide Studios.

Yoshida said that the line-up for the PS Vita has already been planned for up to 2013. The full launch line-up in Japan looks liked this:

– Project N.O.E.L.S. (working title) – music player (Arc System Works)
– 3gokushi touchbattle (working title) – MMO/RTS (AQ Interactive)

– Dream C Club Zero Portable – dating simulation game (D3 Publisher)
– Niconico – Niconico (Dwango)
– Fis Oh – sport fishing (Kadokawa Games)
– Katamari Damacy (working title) – roll-’em-up (Namco Bandai)
– Ridge Racer (working title) – racing game (Namco Bandai)
– Disgaea 3 Return – strategy RPG (Nippon Ichi Software)
– Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition – sport tennis (Sega)
– @field – sport golf (Sonic Powered)
– Uncharted: Golden Abyss – action adventure (Sony)
