Hurricane Sandy Forces Call Of Duty And Guitar Hero Offline


Hurricane Sandy has already knocked Kotaku US flat on its back, and now its gone and taken Call of Duty and Guitar Hero offline. According to One of Swords, certain Activision servers have been negatively affected by the storm, forcing some games offline.

“Due to the hurricane that affected the East Coast of the United States,” explained multiplayer gaming with some of our online title is experiencing connectivity issues. We appreciate your patience.”

— Call of Duty: World at War (all platforms)
— Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS3)
— Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3, PC, Wii)
— Guitar Hero (all titles and platforms)
