Remedy Entertainment showed off a mid-warping glimpse into its next game during today’s Xbox event. It looks stunning.

I have high hopes for this game. Alan Wake was unlike anything I have experienced, compelling story, atmosphere and even combat at times.

You should have played Max Payne 1/2, both have Sam Lake as the writer, and Remedies way of narrating the story and using comic book cut scenes was brilliant.
lololol… Sam Wake? Too much Remedy on my mind. Sam Lake!

I have played Max Payne 1 and 2, both excellent games. The feeling of nostalgia when you are delving into Max’s ‘psyche’ is very surreal.

Really looking forward to seeing more of this. Will always love Remedy for Max Payne 1&2.
Hope it’s coming to PC eventually, though, because it’s the only thing I’ve seen that I’m interested in so far on the XBox, and that’s not enough for a sale.

I just hope they don’t try and pull that bullshit, ‘Exclusive’, again with this title. Not blaming Remedy, just Microsoft. ‘We won’t fund the game unless it’s exclusive’. – Is most likely how it went haha. Though I can’t say that it will, who’s publishing it, do we know?

I think they have to make some exclusives in order to compete with things like Little Big Planet, Uncharted, The Last of Us, Journey etc

Yeah, The XBox 360 is severely lacking in that department, they’ve basically only got Gears Of War, Halo, Forza and a heap of Kinect titles. Whereas the PS3 has Gran Turismo, Uncharted, Ratchet And Clank, God Of War, Infamous, Little Big Planet, Killzone, Motorstorm etc, etc.
On topic, this looks great, if I do get an XBox One I’ll definitely be picking up this and Forza 5.
Oh, and you can bet your arse that this will be exclusive.

What about Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Blue Dragon, Chromehounds, Crackdown, Dead or Alive 4, Dead Rising, Fable, Infinite Undiscovery, Kameo, Lost Odyssey, not to mention great arcade games like The Dishwasher, Perfect Dark, Shadow Complex, and pretty much every Twisted Pixel game.

This is true, I guess I’m just VERY bitter about the PC launches. I’m a grumpy gamer, please forgive me.

Why would they fund a game that wasn’t exclusive?
Would you buy a cheeseburger if your mortal enemy was going to get half of it? -

Alan Wake, Quantum Break.
Let’s hope all their titles rhyme to create some poetic verse.

Alan Wake, Quantum Break, Golum Cake?
So the first has two syllables and second only 1.. This will get tricky, I’m terrible at rhymes.

What exactly does the clearly live action sequence that precedes the obviously computer-generated ship crash have to do with the uncanny valley?
