Quick! Answer! Which is it: a jumbo phone or a teeny PlayStation controller? Here, I’ll give you a hint: It’s not a huge phone.
Big hint, I know! These “ear phone jack mascots” go on sale next April in Japan. No word yet on pricing.

DS3? That is so last gen..
That’s not the DS3 is it? That didn’t have an analog button because it wasn’t new and shiny then
DS2 guys…
or 1
The DS1 only came in grey. The DS2 on the other hands came in silver & black!
And pink
There was the blue one as well, if my memory serves me right, I just mostly remember the silver (cause I had a Silver PS2) & the black ones heh.
My black DS1 begs to differ.
So does a can of export spray paint 😛
Lol, nah. The DS1 came in black.
Something dangly and yank friendly so you can risk damaging your headphone jack even when not using it?
Yeah I might pass
Aw man! That clue was too easy, I would’ve guessed it if you hadn’t spoiled it!
phaillic jack is phallic
That’s what I was thinking.
Looks like a sex toy add on for rumble controllers.
Was gonna say….. if that was a full size DS controllor…….. got yourself an interesting “game” to play 😉
Why anybody would want this (or any other) rubbish dangling from their phone, I’ll never know…
Seems to be a big thing in Japan – there’s hundreds of these things that you plug into your headphone jack, including various anime-themes mascots, everything from Tachikoma (from Ghost in the Shell) to chibi anime figures to fake sushi.
I always wondered what they do with them when they want to actually use headphones…
Most people I’ve seen with smartphones also use an iPod or the like for music.
Yup.
they keep pocket lint out of the socket. my pockets can get quite linty and the number of times i have plugged in my ‘phones to find the hole is full of lint, i wish i had one of these
The top end of my phone goes into my pocket first, and my headphone jack is on the bottom… so thankfully that’s not an issue for myself.
Not that I listen to music on my phone anyway. I have a dedicated MP3 player for that. 🙂
