The Canadian developers behind the realistic military shooter have announced that if you want to jump into an early build of SQUAD and its 50 vs 50 gameplay, you’ll be able to do so from the middle of December.
The latest developer blog post has announced that the Early Access doors will open up from December 15, and if you want to pre-purchase the game you’ll have to do so before November 30.
“On Steam launch, those that have not pre-purchased will be able to purchase Squad and all future content for [US$39.99] via Steam. Going forward all content, past and present, will be open to all players,” the developers added.
You can find out more about SQUAD’s requirements, features and roadmap over on the Steam page.

I like that you guys are giving the game coverage 🙂
such a saturation of modern fps’s reminds me of arma heaps, wish was ww2 or something.
This is game is a nice middle ground between ARMA and BF. It is awesome
Source: Playing the alpha right now
Good to know. I’m a long time BF fan, but have recently pretty much stopped playing BF4 altogether. Still haven’t pre-ordered this though. Has anyone got any thoughts on the different deals available? Last I checked there were quite a few different pre-orders you could do.
There’s just the squad leader tier for $70usd which you can get till end of November and this gives you access to the closed alpha on right now. Then there is the rifleman tier for $30usd which gives you access to early access in December but it’s $10 cheaper than steam’s price
Cool, thanks.
