It feels like I’ve been waiting years for SUPERHOT, primarily because the art style and the concept has been burned into my brain from the moment early screenshots and trailers hit the internet.
It’s one of my most anticipated games for 2016, and I can’t wait to see what it’s like in VR. But fortunately, the game will be out well before the first shipment of headsets are sent.
The official release date for SUPERHOT is February 25, although there’s no confirmation on whether that is February 25 globally or simply February 25 for the US/Europe and a day later for Australians (as is so often the case).
Anyway, the new trailer looks slick. You could even say it’s super hot.
It’s worth adding that Xbox One gamers will also be able to get their hands on SUPERHOT, although the XBO launch won’t happen until mid-March at least (just a few weeks later, according to the video description).
What do you think? I can’t wait to play this game in VR. Even bog-standard 1080p should be loads of fun, but then it’s pretty hard to go past the idea of blending bullet time with puzzles.

I played this on the Oculus at PAX and it was really cool. The version of the Oculus at the time had terrible resolution though which kind of killed it a bit but I had a lot of fun. Too bad an Oculus will cost me an arm and a leg so I guess I’ll be missing out on this one.
