As we’ve seen, you can play Breath of the Wild on a PC using an emulator. It isn’t exactly optimal, but there’s a tiny bright side to the struggle: You can open a busted treasure chest that on both Switch and Wii U is inaccessible.
Because it’s half-buried and underwater, in retail copies of the game you just can’t get down low enough to actually pop the lid on this chest.
But here, running Cemu 1.7.3d, Pimpinpinguino was able to walk straight through the water that would normally make getting to the chest a pain, and then do a funky little dance number to trigger the opening.
And what’s inside such a random and inaccessible chest? Perhaps a powerful in-game item, or some message of congratulations for having worked so hard to get access to it?
Oh.
Here’s video of how it was found and opened:

Sorry to be “that guy” but can’t you just pull out the chest of the sand with magnesis? I’ve done it to every other chest in the sand
I was thinking the exact same thing.
If you watch the video he actually tries it but it doesn’t work.
If you watch the video it states magnesis doesn’t work on the Emulator. (1:05) . I would be interested in finding the location of this chest as i’m sure it is obtainable in the full release official console versions.
If I had to guess I’d say the chest was meant to be one of those ones since it’s underwater, but when they put it there they accidentally put it just a tiny bit lower than it should be, so it’s tynically underneath the map and would need to be pulled through something it can’t be pulled through.
Or put up an ice pillar underneath it…
