R18+ Rally Cancelled, Cosplay To Blame
Bad news, cosplayers. Gametraders has called off the Cosplay for a Cause rally planned for next Wednesday in Adelaide and intended to show support for the introduction of an R18+ rating for games. The reason? Lack of numbers, according to the official statement we received today.

Censor Watch
A couple of notables amid the swathe of games up before the Classification Board last week. First, a new but unannounced Cricket game from EA. We’ll be asking them about that today. Second, the third confirmed Wiimake, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. And we’ll be asking Nintendo about that one, too.

World of Warcraft Is “Potentially Illegal” In Australia… Huh?
Truly bizarre story on the Sydney Morning Herald site yesterday afternoon. They claim that MMOs such as World of Warcraft are “potentially” being sold illegally in Australia as they do not carry the correct classification markings. In fact, most MMOs are not classified at all in this country.
