Can you guess this old game from just one screenshot?
I’ll update this post with the answer at 5pm today if no one has guessed before then. Or if you do guess it before then, feel free to share your memories of a classic game.
at first i thought bardstale, but i reckon might be hillsfar, i vaguely remember using a horse for travel! doesn’t look like my c64, so might be another platform like spectrum (which i never owned)
i remember playing bards tale (3?) without the anti-piracy code wheel. i just kept racking up experience not caring that i couldn’t access the locked levels to finish the game..

Monday, October 12, 2009 at 10:16 AMCan’t say I know the game, but I’d guess that it’s a D&D game of some sort. Moby is a surprisingly well-balanced fighter.

Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11:47 AMGee the proto-RPGs of that era loooooooved the corner-box showing the player POV of the wall in front of them.
Not Swords & Serpents but does look pretty NES-y.

Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11:52 AMIt looks to me like SSI’s Hillsfar which was the semi-sequal to Curse of the Azure Bonds.
