Poor Wildgoose! Thought he could come back and flummox us all, but he failed! First comment gets it! But thank Mr Goose — and be sure to check out PC Powerplay and Hyper because they’re good magazines and Goose does a good job! But that was Friday and this is now — onto the next scribble!
Have at it my brethren!
ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game, on a sticky note, and it’s your job to try and guess what it is! Come back every day at 12 for a new ScribbleTaku!

Looks a bit like Altered Beast... mirrored!
I was thinking the same thing. Loved that game.
(Until I saw the planet and realised the dude was holding a gun. Also, usually by the time you reached a boss you were in full beast mode)
The absurdity of a man shooting what looks like a giant stuffed puppy in space makes me think of Parodius 2 but that scrolled to the right...
The Dig
Pandemonium?
System Shock
Super Metroid.
My guess in advance for wildgoose is FarCry2. As for this. Idk
Contra 3: Alien Wars?
Well, that's The Dig.
Someone beat you to it today, Shane
I'll add my voice to the chorus chanting "The Dig" each day... even if there are a hundred people in front of me :P
Beat ya :D
I know it's on the wrong side; but Marvel vs Capcom 3?
Yeah, I was thinking that too!
Terraria?
Turrican?
This is my thought also.
+1
Metal Slug?
Given the presence of the planet, I'm guessing it's a platformer on the moon...
How about one of the post-shareware episodes of the ORIGINAL Duke Nukem, never got them but I remember the end boss of episode one and something about a moon base in future episodes.
So yeah... Duke Nukem: Episode 2
Commander Keen?
Cybernator?
Some Dude with a Phaser Shooting a Giant Demon Head with a Hitler Moustache II: Electric Boogaloo
Midnight Resistance.
Not 100% sure but that's pretty close to one of the bosses.
Looks like Samus vs Kraid in some Metroid game.
Nintendogs
Nananananana Katamari Damacy?
