Last week the PlayStation Blog brought serendipitous news: the masterpiece Suikoden II took a top 10 slot not just on the best-selling list of PlayStation Classics for December, but for all of 2015.
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Mega Man X4
- Mega Man X5
- Final Fantasy VII
- Breath of Fire IV
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- Katamari Damacy
- Twisted Metal: Black
- Suikoden II
- Final Fantasy IX
Incredible. I can only assume that this is my fault. Hopefully it will convince the lizard-people who run Konami that Suikoden is worth revisiting in the West.

Breath of Fire IV was 99c at one point.
Great deal.
Your article was the reason I bought… not that I’ve played it though #pileofshame
Bought S1 and S2 on the US store when they released, then again on the AU store for convenience. It’s the only games I play on Vita these days.
Silly Jason. Pachinko machines are only popular in Japan.
If Konami bring Suikoden back to the west, it’ll be as a shitty phone game. 🙁
Can we have those mega man games and jrpgs on ps4 store please? Pretty please?
The current list of emulated ps2 classics is bizarre. Why choose those games? Am I alone in thinking they were strange choices?
I hope it encourages Konami to release Vandal Hearts 1 and 2 on PSN or Steam. My favourite RPG ever.
