Well, surprise surprise this week is another biggie. We have a Zelda, we have Mortal Kombat, we have a Far Cry.
And we have a Bus Simulator.
What a time to be alive.
Blue Rider (PC)
What is it? It’s a top down shooter like Smash TV cranked up a notch.
Should you care? Looks not too bad, but I’d go for Assault Android Cactus instead.
Bus Simulator 2016 (PC)
What is it? Guys, it’s a bus simulator.
Should you care? If you like buses and the simulation of driving them, it’s your lucky week.
Deponia Doomsday (PC)
What is it? To be perfectly honest I have no idea what’s going on here, but this has some good production values and nice art, so I included it.
Should you care? Sure, I guess. Seems nice.
Far Cry: Primal (PC)
What is it? It’s Far Cry: Primal. ON PEE-CEE.
Should you care? Yeah you should care. It’s Far Cry.
Mortal Kombat XL (Xbox One/PS4)
What is it? It’s the Mortal Kombat with absolutely everything in it.
Should you care? Yeah I think so. This series is super good now. Nice time to jump in.
Screencheat (Xbox One/PS4)
What is it? The super cool multiplayer game where you have to screencheat to win comes out on consoles!
Should you care? Yeah, this game is great. I always thought it was better suited to consoles.
Stella Glow (3DS)
What is it? It’s another turn-based JRPG for the 3DS. Man, they sure make a lot of these. Who has time to play them all?
Should you care? Apparently this is pretty good, but goddamn it’s a competitive market.
The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD (Wii U)
What is it? Well, this has come up fast. Totally surprised me. It’s Zelda. Twilight Princess. On the Wii U.
Should you care? This was made in Melbourne so I have a soft spot for it. I’m also really keen to replay this game.
Picking anything up this week? Let us know in the comments below!

Stella Glow isn’t actually out until next week, unless there was a very last minute change? Or maybe it’s the digital version this week physical next?
Also out this week:
McDroid – PS4
Ninja Senki DX (For reals this time, it was delayed) – PS4/Vita
Screencheat – PS4
Square Heroes – PS4
XBlaze Code: Embryo – PC
BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Extend – PC
Heavy Rain/Beyond 2 Souls Collection – PS4
The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition – PS4
We’ve been told that Stella Glow can go on sale once it’s in stock.
The Heavy Rain/Beyond has been delayed due to a rating sticker mismatch
Ahh. All I knew was that NISA was still saying it would be out on the 11/3 last week.
I would have gotten down on Heavy Rain/Beyond if it also had Fahrenheit in there.
I was fooled by the bait. Got me good! Glad I clicked on the article, now I know it’s not the new Zelda.
Desert Bus is the ultimate bus simulator. No denying.
Maybe mortal kombat for me, I’m still balls deep into Pokemon yellow and bravely second
Never played Twilight Princess so I’m pretty keen to grab it on the Wii U.
I had no idea they were making more Deponia. I thought that “Goodbye” was fairly conclusive, I’m not entirely sure that I want to jump into another Rufus adventure. I reckon I would have been more keen to play something in the same world with another (hopefully better) character.
You should definitely care about Deponia if you love Adventure Games. Just… lower your standards. They’re not great. But they’re pretty, and they have puzzles, and their English translations are at least entirely competent, if entirely dull.
All in all I find them a much better way to scratch that Classic Adventure itch than TellTale’s work.
My copy of Twilight Princess on the Wii got stolen, so I can finally finish the game.
Did someone forget to tell the publishers that “holiday season” finished months ago?
Bravely Second came out Sunday, isn’t that this week?
I was thinking about it too, because I just picked mine up today, but I believe it actually came out on the Saturday.
Blue Rider has nothing to do with Assault Android Cactus. That’s not a good comparison. Both games are awesome, but too different from each other, even though both are “bullet-hell’ games.
When I read the words Far Cry I file that under “No, you absolutely should not care anymore.” not “Yeah you should care.” To each their own I guess.
