The first big expansion for Forza Horizon 3 is now live on PC and Xbox One, adding ice and snow to the game’s varied Australian terrain, just a plane ride away.
Blizzard Mountain adds a rather expansive new area to the game, a wintry place that’s very friendly to trucks and snow tires. New physics, new vehicles and a new, more slippery side of the Australian wilderness awaits players willing to brave the $29.95 standalone purchase or buy the Expansion Pass for $52.45. You can learn more about the expansion at the official website.

In order to access the Blizzard Mountain content in Forza Horizon 3, you’ll have to have the area around Redstone Airport unlocked. If you do not, you’ll have to play a bit more to access the new stuff. I know this, because I am way behind.
If you do have the area open, you’ll be given the option to fly to Blizzard Mountain once you get there. If I were you, I’d take it.

Some players are currently experiencing issues getting the expansion to load in-game. Turn 10 has posted a couple of workarounds involving installing the expansion outside of the game in its forums.
Hopefully I’ll be done playing catch-up soon and can join my fellow racers on the ice. Until then, I live vicariously through the expansion trailer.

See I like this about the US/AU posts, two different takes on the same announcement, worlds apart.
I’m still weirded out by the theme, but the yanks can be so adorable in their ignorance at times 😀
Have they patched in Driving Force GT support yet for PC?
Have they simply fixed the black screen of death the games experiences even after all the updates?
I bought all the packs for the blizzard mountain and it still says its locked. Any idea why?
