If you’re a basketball fan, or a New Yorker, you’ve definitely heard about Linsanity. It’s the underdog story of a Chinese American Harvard graduate being undrafted and cut from NBA teams before exploding, in well “Linsanity”. And for the past two week, it has been the talk of the sports world. No one saw him coming, not even NBA 2K12.
This dude takes arcade basketball to the next level. He went through the effort of hijacking all of the extra basketballs in the arcade, and then proceeds to hurl rocks like a champion.
NBA 2K12 has had a rough couple of weeks. A lot of the goodwill built up in August for the game’s nostalgic “NBA’s Greatest” mode was washed out by news of lockout-frozen rosters and repackaged premium DLC. And then Kurtis Blow comes up over the speakers, and Dikembe wags his finger at you, and you find yourself willing to forgive a lot.
