China Is Linsane. It’s Trying To Claim Jeremy Lin.

If you’re a basketball fan, or a New Yorker, you’ve definitely heard about Linsanity. It’s the underdog story of a Chinese American Harvard graduate being undrafted and cut from NBA teams before exploding, in well “Linsanity”. And for the past two week, it has been the talk of the sports world. No one saw him coming, not even NBA 2K12.

If This Is The Only NBA On Your TV All Year, NBA 2K12 Supplies The Proper Camera Angle

Baseball parks’ larger, varying dimensions and nonstandard playing areas make for unique camera angles, familiar for fans who watch the local broadcasts but markedly different to others. MLB 2K11 (and MLB The Show 11) sought to replicate this in this year’s game.

Every Night Is Basketball Appreciation Night In NBA 2K12

It is 2am and I’m going to score 60 points with Dell Curry. Having unlocked the 1992-1993 Charlotte Hornets — you had better believe it was the first thing I did in NBA 2K12 — I’ve started Dell in place of Kendall Gill and he is, well, he’s beating his son.

I Could Never Stay Mad At You, NBA 2K12

NBA 2K12 has had a rough couple of weeks. A lot of the goodwill built up in August for the game’s nostalgic “NBA’s Greatest” mode was washed out by news of lockout-frozen rosters and repackaged premium DLC. And then Kurtis Blow comes up over the speakers, and Dikembe wags his finger at you, and you find yourself willing to forgive a lot.
