There’s no doubt that this year’s E3 has been pretty darn good. 3DS, Kinect, Move, Skyward Sword, Twisted Metal, DX3, Portal 2 — an impressive spread whichever way you look at it, but especially in comparison to last year’s disappointing effort. Come to think of it, the year before last wasn’t much chop either. Or the year before that.

So maybe I was a little hard on the loading times for streaming Netflix movies on the Wii yesterday. It could be worse; it could be the same service on a PS3.

Nintendo’s DSi XL features a much bigger screen than its predecessor, but does that mean better or worse graphics?
The Nintendo DSi XL comes out on March 28; the Apple iPad on April 3 in the States. Both are essentially bigger versions of things that already exist, but how much of an improvement are they really?
