It’s The Hook That Brings You Back To Metal Gear Solid V

I ain’t telling you no lie. The hook brings you back — even if you’ve got one eye.

This Nine-Minute Metal Gear Solid V Trailer Is Pretty Gross

Nine minutes! That’s a long freakin’ time. Not all the footage is brand, brand new, but be warned, it’s rather graphic in places. Heads up if you are squeamish.

Hopefully, This Is A New Move In The Next Smash Bros (And Other GIFs)

E3 is in just a few days, but that doesn’t mean this week is devoid of weird and screwy GIFs the internet likes to have fun with. Quite the contrary. So, before we prepare Photoshop for undoubtedly silly GIFs from the big E3 conferences, let’s see what the Internet has been up to this week.

Here’s A Pretty Crazy Conspiracy Theory About Metal Gear Solid V

Many Metal Gear Solid fans aren’t exactly happy that David Hayter will not — as far as we can tell — be reprising his role as Snake in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V. That much isn’t surprising. Amusingly, the inability to let Hayter go has led some fans to concoct a ridiculous conspiracy theory about what’s actually happening with MGSV.

Weird Moments With Kiefer Sutherland, Also Known As The New Snake

Snake’s out of the bag: Kiefer Sutherland will play Snake in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. The announcement was standard stuff, although I couldn’t help but notice some notable, sometimes silly moments — like the one above.

Kiefer Sutherland Is Snake

Jack Bauer will play Naked Snake in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Konami just announced during its pre-recorded E3 press conference. Naked Snake, as you might remember from MGS3, is actually Big Boss, clone-father to longtime series protagonist Solid Snake. But this is a big twist for the series: all incarnations of Snake are usually played by the gravelly voiced David Hayter.

David Hayter Snipes At Konami On Twitter

Wow! I guess David Hayter is really upset he won’t be returning to the role of Snake for the next Metal Gear Solid game. Or maybe he’s still participating in a long con with MGS creator Hideo Kojima? Check out what he just tweeted.

Watch Konami’s E3 Press Conference Right Here

Snake? SNAAAAKKKKKEEEEE!!!! Konami’s E3 press conference is today at 1pm Eastern, and we’ve got it streaming right here. UPDATE: The conference is over, but you can still watch the whole thing here.

Is David Hayter Playing Snake In MGS5?

Ever since David Hayter tearfully announced that he wouldn’t be returning as Snake for the next Metal Gear Solid game, I’ve had a gut feeling that he will be returning as Snake. Get this: the longtime Snake voice actor tweeted yesterday that he’ll be making an appearance at E3 in a week and a half.

Acapella Can’t Make The Metal Gear Solid Theme Kick Any Less Ass

Not all music can survive the a capella treatment, let alone the “Geekapella” treatment. Goofy dudes (Max and Sam) singing geeky music, sort of in tune and sort of out of tune… a lesser theme song might lose some of its dramatic heft. Not Metal Gear Solid.
