To mark the end of the Sydney cosplay season, Kotaku donned a pair of furry cat ears (we cosplayed collectively as a lolcat) and asked people whose costumes were better than ours for their photo.
Here’s what you missed out on if you didn’t spend the weekend at Sydney’s Animania Festival. Excuse the grainy photos; it was a grainy location with grainy lighting and equally grainy people, we had shaky cat-hands.

I think Sengoku Basara cosplay team is the best in this event, they’re soo fully costumed.

Well at least u guys didnt ask me for a photo or something, my luigi cosplay dwarfs in comparison to these (and many of the others at Animania). Pretty fun, the day was.
I haven’t seen Sakura costume in so long. Especially the old school version–damn, that costume is iconic. Cute kid. I wouldn’t dress my kid up as anything from CLAMP though.. that’s just leading them down a bad path.
