See The Amazing Mechanical Pac-Man In Action

Jonathan M. Guberman, creator of the previously featured Automatypewriter – a typewriter that plays Zork – is working on a new project, a playable, fully mechanised Pac-Man cabinet. This is our first peek, the Pactuator, a hand-cranked, fully geared Pac-Man.

Guberman calls the Pactuator “the first (visually interesting) part” of his mechanical Pac-Man remake, which he calls Pac Machina. His goal is to finish the arcade cabinet and auction it off for Penny Arcade’s Child’s Play charity. So, for two big reasons, we hope he can pull this off.

Read more about the Pactuator at Guberman’s project page.
