Resident Evil Turns 15, Here’s An Expensive T-Shirt

This year is the 15th anniversary of the Resident Evil series. Yes, it’s been 15 years since the first game was released on the PS1. So Capcom is celebrating with a very fancy t-shirt.

The publisher has teamed up with Japanese t-shirt connoisseurs Beams to offer a limited edition Biohazard (as the series is known in Japan) 15th Anniversary Book, a package that combines a shirt with a 112-page book chronicling the history of the series and featuring interviews with all of its key developers over the years.

Your import mileage may be low, as it’s being offered in Beams stores and the book’s in Japanese (plus, you know, the shirt isn’t that great). If you’re in Japan (or know someone on the ground near a Beams) and still want one, though, it’ll be out on September 20 and is selling for ¥5250 (USD$68).
