‘Soul Of Toys’: Ugly Mugs Atop Our Favourite Action Figures

Jeremy Schultz loves taking photos of action figures. No posing, no irony. Just unadorned portraits of ageing, flaking action figures, which for those of a certain age will evoke quite a bit of memory. (And no small bit of “God, was that thing really that ugly?”)

He’s working on a coffee table book called Soul of Toys, filled with 80 portraits. If you’d like a copy yourself, he’s putting together a very modest Kickstarter project to get it together. $US25 for a book.
