Here Are EVO 2012’s Champions

In case you’re just joining us and/or didn’t sit down and watch all the big showdowns live, EVO 2012 — the world’s biggest fighting game tournament — has just wound up in Las Vegas.

Winners have been crowned across all the major titles at the show, with the final title bout deciding 2012’s best Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Version 2012 player. Now that the dust has settled, your winners and champions are:

Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Version 2012 – Infiltration
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 – Filipino Champ (pictured)
Mortal Kombat – KN.EMP|Perfect Legend
King of Fighters XIII – Mad KOF
Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown – Fuudo
Street Fighter x Tekken – Infiltration & Laugh
Soul Calibur V – Shining Decopon

I know they’re similar, but that’s still quite the achievement from Infiltration taking out both SFIV and SFxT.

For the full list of finalists and recaps of how it all went down, check out Shoryuken’s coverage.
