Good Evening. Here's Some Terrific Concept Art.

Simon Goinard has been doing freelance work for the past decade, with his art featuring for clients as diverse as Disney, Exxon, Camel and Aston Martin.

He's also done quite a bit of video game work, with an equally-impressive list of employers like Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Guild Wars developers ArenaNet.

You can see more of Simon's incredible work at his personal site (thanks CAW!)

'Terrific' means bad/awful, right? Like in 'terrific accident' and 'terrific injury'? I don't understand the headline - the concept art is quite good.

You are a retard of terrific proportions. Please read a dictionary.

It is my understanding that 'terrific' was originally an adjective derived from the word 'terror'. A terrific noise would be a terror-inducing noise.

        Please be less rude.

It's like 'really' or 'very'. It shows degree, and has no relation to terrible or horrific. Terrific is generally a good thing.

You're thinking of "horrific". Terrific is positive, meaning very good or great, whereas, horrific means terrible/awful/all that jazz.

I've heard that origin too but generally its used positively.

No one is gonna mention Yoji Shinkawa?
