This Week In Games

This week is a bit of a humdinger — FIFA 13, World of Warcraft! A bunch of games you’ve never heard of! It’s all happening this week!

Castle Crashers (PC)

What is it? Oh wow! It’s Castle Crashers! On PC!
Should you care? I suppose you should!

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission (PC)

What is it? An RTS all about controlling islands and stuff.
Should you care? I honestly don’t know. This is not my area of expertise!

Dead or Alive 5 (360/PS3)

What is it? Jiggle physics. And fighting.
Should you care? I’ll be honest and say no. I legitimately enjoyed Dead or Alive 3, but I haven’t played the series since, so you might want to take my opinion with a pinch of salt.

FIFA 13 (360/PS3/Wii/PC/Vita/3DS/PSP)

What is it? Yay! It’s FIFA!
Should you care? You should totally care — A LOT. I love FIFA, and I think this is a good move in the right direction for a lot of reasons. EA really is refusing to its foot off the gas with this series.

Half Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy (PC)

What is it? It’s that game people got all worked up about. Now it’s on PC.
Should you care? Some people absolutely love this game, so I guess you should!

New Little King’s Story (Vita)

What is it? Oh man, it’s that game that critics loved, but no-one bothered buying, on the Vita — the console no one is buying. THIS WILL END BRILLIANTLY.
Should you care? I hope you do care, because Little King’s Story is a really cool series. It really does deserve success.

Of Orcs And Men (360/PS3/PC)

What is it? I honestly had to google this: it’s a fantasy RPG of sorts.
Should you care? I don’t really think so.

Rocksmith (360/PS3/PC)

What is it? The game that legitimately teaches you how to play Guitar. Apparently.
Should you care? I think it’s interesting. Maybe it’s come a little too late to make any real impact. Shame. I haven’t picked up a plastic instrument in over a year.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (360/PS3/PC)

What is it? The latest in a licensed series that just continues plodding along.
Should you care? It’s weird — I hear nothing about these games until release, but someone keeps developing them, so someone must be buying them!

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria (PC)

What is it? It’s WoW. With Pandas.
Should you care? You don’t care? Don’t you love Pandas? What’s wrong with you? Why are you hating on Pandas?

A lot of games this week — what are you all planning to buy, if anything?
