Comments

They apparently didn't fix the triggers, the sticks are still close together, and now it has gesture controls...at least the arms are thicker so my hands (hopefully) won't cramp up.

According to the pictures in the eurogamer article on the controller (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-02-21-pictures-of-the-rather-handsome-dualshock-4-controller-for-ps4), the triggers look straight rather than curved inwards so it's probably going to be a little better

      fix the triggers?
      from what? for what?
for xbox gamers who always seem to have huge hands & arms with sweaty thumbs & trigger fingers...

Grow up. I stopped bickering about consoles when i was literally 11 years old.

    Still no removable battery???

So at some point the wireless controller must be wired... FFS

      Downvotes - really?
Am I missing something because this is something that always annoyed me about my PS3?

Considering I sit about 4 metres from my TV being able to swap a battery pack instead of needing to cycle controllers seems to be a better solution...

Battery packs would be good but considering everything is going the way of inbuilt non replaceable batteries I'm not surprised.
More important i think is the quality of the batteries though and they were pretty good in the old PS3 remotes. In the long run (for me at least) i spent less on 2 PS3 remotes that I did on one 360 remote and the 9 or so battery packs I bought because the old one died. As much as the 360 controller is considered better in almost every other way, they had the absolute WORST battery packs imaginable.

Are you serious? the most annoying thing about xbox was betteries. The ps3 controllers are awesome, You have 2, play one till it gets low and swap. Never have to buy batteries

Don't have to buy AA batteries for the xbox either - just swap battery packs - easier in my opinion than recharging a controller and swapping the user account each time.
Plus as controllers age joysticks and buttons wear, meaning they don't all perform identically.

I find it funny how in mobile phones it is a dealbreaker for a lot of people, but for a controller noone seems to mind either way :)

Swap user account? Who needs to do that? Turn off low PS3 controller, hit PS button on charged controller and BAM, you're back in the game.

Wow. "Video Frame Rate 1280×800 pixel @ 60fps"? That's higher than the latest GoPro.

      No its not
