Music To Play Video Games By…

If you frequent the Kotaku comments you might know him as Anonymous Pessimist, but in the music world he is James Flamestar and after a successful Pozible funding campaign, and a launch party last weekend, he has finally released his gamer themed album into the wild.

The album is called Stargazers, and the idea is simple: make music to play video games by. The album was partly funded on Pozible, with some members of the Kotaku community making some sizeable donations to the cause. One of the rewards for a +$145 donation was the ability to name a track on the album — you might notice that one Zorine ‘Harli’ Te has named a track (after herself)!

You can buy the album here for a very reasonable $5 or check out some samples here on Soundcloud.

James is also in the process of making a documentary to go along with the entire process — we’ll update when it hits!

Cool to see Kotaku folk doing cool stuff in real life. Great job man!
