The First-Person Shooter That Has Brazil’s eSports Scene All Excited


This past weekend Red Bull hosted another StarCraft II tournament, which they call the Training Grounds, and featured some of the best players from around the world. There was also a surprise coming out of Brazil with the Brazil Gaming League Arena which saw some fierce competition in the free-to-play first person shooter Cross Fire.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find those highlight clips I promise in the video above, but here are the finals in all their glory if you’re curious to see what’s got Brazil so excited.

Finally, Sony Online Entertainment is gearing up for SOE Live which is going to take place this weekend, August 1-4. There will be lots of news for the new Battle Islands as well as a $US10,000 tournament live at the event!
