What do you do when the beloved video game studio you worked at gets closed down? You get to work on that side-scrolling ancient Rome strategy game you've always wanted to do. And not just any side-scrolling ancient Rome strategy game. Super Roman Conquest has a pretty clever twist that'll change how you look at it.
War is complicated. It doesn't happen in just two dimensions. Sometimes, you need to send your retro-styled Roman warriors all the way over there -- deeper into the screen -- to kick some butt. Super Roman Conquest lets you do exactly that. The upcoming game is being made by SeaCliff Interactive, a bunch of guys who'd been working on Star Wars 1313 and Star Wars: First Assault before the unfortunate shutdown of LucasArts. Head on over to their Kickstarter page to find out more about the game.
