   Might be worth mentioning to the folks 7DTD is early access alpha.
   Very cool game though – a bit rough around the edges, but lots of potential.

      Grabbed it during the steam sale it was about $23 i think.

   One thing I don’t like is it doesn’t have an art style to it. It looks like postal 2 with a minecraft mod, which isn’t good at all. Either they need to beef up the graphics or give it a distinct style that’s appealing.

   Also, please remember this game is NOT procedurally generated like Minecraft is. Like DayZ, the goods and buildings are static locations. The Server must be reset so the items can be respawned regularly. I find it to be a fun game but at times having to reset the server makes for a tiny little bit of annoyance when you’ve managed to build up a decent fortification only to have it taken away. But like the others said, it’s also an early alpha game.

   That being said, are early alpha games being forgotten by their developers and/or abandoned? I have a bunch on steam that haven’t seen updates or even entered ‘beta’ stage since release, for some that’s potentially years…
