Artwork Made With Kinect Puts You Inside A Magical Forest

Artwork Made With Kinect Puts You Inside A Magical Forest

I’m not usually one for hyperbole, but this has to be the most stunning artistic use of Microsoft’s Kinect I’ve ever seen. Le Vent Nous Portera (French for The Wind Will Carry Us) puts users (for lack of a better word) inside a magical midnight forest that reminds me of Grave of the Fireflies, only a lot less depressing.

The thing was made by Alexander Letcius and Bulat Sharipov, two members of the Saint Petersburg-based art collective TUNDRA. Check out more of their work here.
